We offer a full range of services including lockout assistance, key creation & duplication, diagnostics, module programming, dealer software access, lock repair & replacement, master key systems, security audits and more.

For Emergency Services we strive to arrive at your location within 45-60 minutes of your call, depending on your location and the time of day.

To get a key created from scratch, we do require proof of ownership and a valid ID. Proof of ownership is the vehicle registration or title. The title needs to be in YOUR name or completely filled out by both buyer and seller. A Bill of Sale is not sufficient for key creation. 

To get a key duplicated, we do not require any proof of ownership. A valid ID will be required. 

We do require proof of residency or ownership. This can be tricky because you never get locked out while holding your utility bill. Your most efficient route is to pull up a utility bill or lease agreement on your phone. Remember to check your mailbox, you may get lucky. If we must, we can pick your door lock and allow you entry to the property in order to produce proof of residency. However, if that document is not produced, it is our policy to notify the police.  We do everything we can to keep our community safe.

We are not able to unlock a house for a pet-sitter or similar without WRITTEN CONSENT AND VERIFIED PROOF OF RESIDENCY.

We sure hope not! We use the least invasive measure possible. In 99% of cases, we do not damage your property. There are, however, times when that is unavoidable. If we find that we must break something or drill the lock, we will discuss your options with you up front. We can offer replacement locks, if needed. If we damage something unexpectedly, we will take ownership of our mistake. We are fully insured and will do what is necessary to make it right.

While there are a few cases where that is true, we can create and program a key to nearly every car on the road today. We use OEM parts so we can provide the same product at a lower cost, and we have a much faster turnaround time than the dealership.

Locksmith Licensing in the state of Tennessee was Repealed in 2021 (see below). We were licensed until the program ended. We currently have numerous certifications for extended and continued education.

We encourage everyone to contact their governor to request locksmith licensing to resume in Tennessee, as it is a safety concern for our community. 

"Pursuant to Senate Bill 0012 and House Bill 0009 enacted into law by Governor Bill Lee on May 27, 2021, the Tennessee Locksmith Licensing Act of 2006, codified in Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 11, is repealed effective May 27, 2021. Therefore, as of May 27, 2021, the State of Tennessee will no longer regulate locksmiths, locksmith apprentices, or locksmith companies.  Licenses from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance will no longer be required to operate as a locksmith, a locksmith apprentice, or a locksmith company and the Department of Commerce and Insurance will no longer have the authority and jurisdiction to discipline any individuals, entities, or companies for operating without a license or for otherwise violating Title 62, Chapter 11."

Absolutely! We can cut and program new car keys- even if you lost the original. Standard, Transponder, Flip style, Prox, Smart keys and FOBs. 

Currently we do not have a storefront location. We are mobile only service and we are happy to meet you where you are for your convenience. 

We offer service to the following counties in TN: Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Davidson, Marshall, Maury, Rutherford, Warren, Williamson, and Wilson County.

Pricing depends on the service, time of day, and complexity of the job. We always provide upfront, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. 

A Rock Solid Locksmith is more than just a lock picker and there is no such thing as "just a basic key". We are a specialized service that requires extensive inventory, expensive tools, exclusive education and continuous investments. The security industry is ever-changing; we must keep up with the times and the stock in order to bring our customers the quality of service that they deserve. Unfortunately, those things do not come to your door for $40 anymore. We will find the most cost-effective option for you, and we do have several discounts we can offer.
